We needed a cheap ladder to use this year, until we get the deck built around our new pool next year. Our pool is a Doughboy, but to buy a ladder from the swim store would be nearly $200!
We bought this and it works great! I opted for the larger ladder, just in case the top step wasn't wide enough to sit on the edge...but it is, so I wish I had opted for the 48".
This ladder is not very sturdy when used with a 48" pool, but does serve the purpose...I simply bypass the top step by stepping right over it. The weight limit is 300 lbs and I'm 230. I can't imagine weighing another 70 lbs and using this ladder....I would think it would be way too wobbly.
Please keep in mind that you have to have a place outside of the pool that is level with the inside of the pool, in order to use this ladder. |
